Do I need a new phone number?
Texts go out from a business texting number we set up and register for you. You can keep your current number: forward the calls you don’t answer to your Thawpoint number, and those missed calls get the text back. Or use the Thawpoint number on your site and Google profile so every call rings through it.
How long until it’s answering leads?
Setup takes about 20 minutes. Your texting number is usually ready within 1 business day. Carriers then approve it for business texting, which typically takes a few days. Each automation turns on as soon as its live test passes.
Will it text people who didn’t ask for it?
No. Someone who fills out your form or calls you gets one reply. Follow-ups, review requests and campaigns only go to people who agreed to texts. Anyone who replies STOP never hears from the app again unless they opt back in.
What does it say? Can I change it?
Each automation comes with a short message written for your business. You can edit every word, and nothing sends until you’ve approved it.
I don’t know how to edit my website.
You don’t have to. Use your form link instead: put it in your Instagram bio, on your Google profile or behind a button. If you do add it to your site, the app gives step-by-step instructions for Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and more, and can email the code to whoever manages your site.
Do I need other software?
No. Thawpoint works on its own in your browser on your phone or computer. Bring your existing lead list as a spreadsheet and it imports it.
Can I cancel? Who owns my data?
Cancel anytime from the app; nothing renews without your OK. Your leads are yours: export everything or delete your account from Settings.
